You are invited to visit Hampshire Passivhaus, in Emsworth, Hampshire as part of International Passivhaus Open Days 2019.
We are open:
Saturday 9th November – tours at 11am and 2pm
Sunday 10th – tour at 11am
7 Convent Lane
Passivhaus is the fastest growing energy performance standard in the world. It is a useful tool on the route to Carbon Zero and to address our Climate Emergency. The standard ensures a high level of occupant comfort while being very low energy; it can be applied not only to residential dwellings but also to commercial, industrial and public buildings.
Come and look around our self-build passivhaus family home:
Join us for building tours, performance data and to find out how much Passivhaus actually costs.
Book your free place below. (Places are limited to 35 people per tour and priority will be given to those who haven’t visited Hampshire Passivhaus previously).
Arriving by train:
The nearest railway station (10 minute walk) is Emsworth on the south-coast line. If arriving from London, I recommend taking the fast train to Havant and a 10 minute taxi. There is a taxi rank at the station (or call Andicars 023 9235 0350). Ask the taxi driver to approach Convent Lane from the south, via Havant Road (no vehicular access from north).
Arriving by bus: 700 Coastliner service (Portsmouth – Brighton)
Arriving by car:
There is no car access to the house (except electric car*). Please park in an adjacent street (no parking restrictions) and walk the short distance up the lane to our house. Best to approach from Havant Road to the south, we are the house with the orange front door.
* Recharge point available for electric car. Please email to book.
